but in my view, which I guess no one likes it, Abby is the last of us actually the last of fireflies who have been trying to find a cure

her father were the last person who could make a cure by performing surgery on Ellie's brain but now he is dead so she is what left of him

she is the last among her friends who were all killed

she might be the last WLF soldiers who were fighting the Scars in a non-ending war so we can assume all of them will die
